CCAM, CAM Gene has more than 23 years of experience in the real estate management industry. Before joining New Concepts, Gene developed Burnet Financial Group’s property management division for association, single family home and apartment management. Prior to Burnet, Gene was the founder and owner of his own firm that included association, single family, apartment, commercial and hotel management. In addition he owned a real estate franchise and started a maintenance company that served them. Gene holds a Minnesota real estate broker’s license. He is also licensed in insurance, mortgage origination, and as a continuing education provider. Gene earned his CAM designation (Certified Apartment Manager) and CCAM (Certified Community Association Manager) through the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association. He is also currently completing his candidacy and requirements for his CPM designation (Certified Property Manager) through the Institute of Real Estate Management. A published writer for several industry magazines and a requested instructor, Gene majored in Philosophy and received his B.S. degree in Education from the University of Minnesota in 1983. ---------------- Leonard Hovde
Executive Vice President/Co-Owner Leonard is a Master plumbing contractor with New Concepts HomeCareSM, serving commercial, multi-housing and private residential properties throughout the Twin Cities. New Concepts HomeCare (formerly Plumm Inc.) has been a new construction and remodeling general contractor for numerous buildings, including the Southdale Medical Building and 6600 France, and has worked with private investors to retrofit and update apartment buildings in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Prior to Plumm Inc., Leonard worked in his family’s business, Hovde Plumbing and Heating. Leonard holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. ---------------- Paul Roth

CCAM Paul has more than 22 years of association management experience, with the last nine at New Concepts. Paul has been responsible for the company’s steady and continued growth. In addition to his duties of sales and contract renewals, Paul has been instrumental in the supervision and training of all staff in order to take the company to new levels of quality service. Paul’s strengths include construction defect identification, correction and efficiency management. Paul is a licensed real estate agent and a graduate of Macalester College.
